Golfing in the North West
Golfing in the North West of Ireland includes the regions of Sligo and Donegal.
Although these regions in terms of tourism are not as popular as the other coast line regions – the amount of exceptional links courses is unbelievable.
The golf links of Enniscrone GC, County Sligo GC, Strandhill GC, Donegal GC, Narin and Portnoo GC, Ballyliffin GC and Rosapenna GC have the same qualities as the courses in the South West.
The only difference is that the infrastructure to the courses is not that advanced. On the other hand the fees are very competitive and the relaxed atmosphere is very much appreciated with golfers from Ireland and overseas.
As Ireland for You organises golf holidays all over the island of Ireland there is nothing easier than crossing the border to Northern Ireland and playing the parklands of Lough Erne GC and the links of Portsteward GC, Portrush GC and Castlerock GC.
