Top-20 Golf Courses in Ireland
Golfing in Ireland should be on the “to do” list of every golfer.
We (in Ireland) divide the course types in mainly two categories: Parkland and Links.
Other types like Cliffs, Seasides and Heathers are included in the parklands although some of them are kind of Links – but anyway.
Links are much more defined by their design and have to be close to the sea, leading through the sand dunes and are sand based throughout the whole course. Hazards are mainly the always changing winds, seagrass rough and deep bunkers. Water, trees or other hazards are not very common.
